[NaNoWriMo 2014; Wattys 2014] WARNING. THIS IS A VERY ROUGH, FIRST DRAFT AND HAS NOT BEEN EDITED AT ALL. The land of Elseer has steadily been dying. With only the words of a long-forgotten prophecy to guide them, speaking of both destruction and renewal, the lives of the people hang in the balance, resting all on a single person. Hidden and on the run, he has never settled in one place for more than a few weeks. He is elusive, and mysterious, not the one she thought she would meet in the streets of the busiest city in Elseer. Certainly not the one that the goddess is driving her towards. Last of Elves Book 1 #216 Adventure!

All Seth Everton wanted was to pass his senior year with at least a C. However, it seemed like they both weren’t going to get what they wanted. When Seth finds finds out about Grace’s little trick, he will go to any lengths to benefit from it.

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

As a Natural Born she is one of them. She had no choice in the matter. She thinks like them, acts like them, eats like them, but can she kill like them? Jana finds she is more than just a normal teenager going to a new high school. All her life everything was simple, but her whole world was turned upside down when she is transferred to another high school because her last one reminds her too much about her brother, Oliver. Before school starts her biggest, and worst, thing in her life was that Oliver was gone. But one day, after a run-in at the mall with someone she wished she never met, her life seems to get more and more complicated with each passing day. Every person she meets seems to have a secret agenda, and she soon realizes that she now has one too.

And maybe they shouldn't tell their parents they're just going to Brighton for the summer. Soul Society was ripped apart by the war with the Quincy. The war ends up having a profound effect on the children on both sides. The solution the adults come up with to help ease tensions between the children is to form a Shinigami's Kids Society. Disclaimer - I don't own Bleach. This is both my NaNoWriMo project for 2014 as well as part of the Bleach Writing Divercity challenge. It is for l-20, which is to write over 100k for a multichapter or series over one NaNoWriMo and the month before/after. Special dedication for this series also goes to Lucanite who wrote Shinigami Kids Society as she and that work are a major inspirations for this piece. Story diverges from canon plot as of chapter 603. Finding Friendship has been in the plans for around four years. The story was always planned to be one of the AU routes I would take with Softly Snowing. Back then there were not nearly as many young characters in the series, but now there are more.

My nanowrimo 2014 attempt. a story about a girl who learns her strength and the value of a true friend. New parts will be posted as completed.

A man who has lost his entire family must live with the fact that there was nothing he could do to save them. The plane crash was two years ago, but Thomas Wood can't come to terms with the loss of his wife and 11-year-old daughter. He must continue to go to work every day, and face the ridicule of his tormenting workmates. To him, he has nothing left to live for anymore, and he contemplates suicide almost every day. Only his father-in-law, Robert, won't allow such actions, and visits Thomas almost every other day. Together, they share their grief, but that only makes Thomas realize more how much he misses them. It only makes him realize more that all that he loved in life is now gone. Until one day, one horribly rainy day, Thomas sees an orphaned little girl and her dog on the street. Dressed in a raggedy raincoat three sizes too big for her and red rubber boots, this little girl and her mutt will forever change his life when he asks her name and she replies, "Rain."

'decibels' highlights the clash between two elite ancient families after the Second Sino-Japanese War; a tale of prejudice, tradition, and a whole lot of scheming. Lily is an American Born Chinese. But even so, she's been told countless times during her childhood to never ever bring a Japanese boy home. So what does she do? She goes and marries one. (sorry for the crappy desc. I wrote it in a rush before my exams)

Follow a five kids trapped in populist Ephemeral while they discover the past and try to save the world. They leave an unperfect world through old newspapers and love letters to piece together what they could have had if their parents were with them and if the Disaster had never struck. ***** NOTE: This is my 2014 NaNoWriMo story. It is in the process of being edited and so while it does contain 28 parts total and they were all previously posted, they are not now. As they are edited for editing round one 1 I will post them so keep looking for sporadic updates. -R.T.

Life could be going well for Annabeth and Percy, but of course something had to get in the way.

People in rich clothing are all looking solemn with a few, trying to hide their grin. All a facade, only a few is grieving and even they are feeling relief. All lets out a little breath, when they hear the thud of the coffin landing on the ground. "We hereby commit her body to the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life." All a lie. They believe me dead, they believe my corpse is rotting in the coffin. Sadly they're wish for my dead body in the coffin is half come true. I am dead, but i'm not in the coffin. ------------------- I don't know how long it will be and No it's not a ''normal'' vampire story since vampires won't have the biggest spotlight. The story is about a girl who falls in love and it doesn't end well. She won't fall for a vampire and then get bitten and turn to a vampire herself.

There was a kingdom, A kingdom full of life. But that was before. Fatenturia, a kingdom once filled with hope, peace, and love, is now destroyed by Greanger, a kingdom that did not want peace anymore, but power. Alleyal, a friend of Fatenturia, turned their backs and joined Greanger. Because of the war, many retreated and joined the enemy for a sure victory. Fatenturia was destroyed, but hope can never be destroyed. Overtaken.. Defeated.. Broken.. But hope was still among them. Fatenturia will fight back. The good will stand for right. Fatenturia's kingdom is taken, but the people's spirit of hope and peace is still there. They will come back..soon. NOTE: This book is currently being rewritten. You may read ahead as it is finished, however, it will not be as vivid and edited as I go through the upcoming steps of writing.
