Once the dust settles after a strange but catastrophic world-wide disaster, humanity tries to stitch itself back together. In quiet Ireland, an employee at a coffee shop that doesn't serve coffee finds her unremarkable life on an exciting and uncertain path when she learns a young man, his dog, and a curious pen (all surprisingly unharmed) have crashed through her roof from seemingly nowhere. The man has potential ties to the mysterious disaster that once wrecked society and may even be hold information regarding humanity's future and the unknown beyond.

Her parents thought it was cute at first. Krystal was two when it first started. She was being tucked into bed one stormy night, when she said,"Where will my sister sleep?""What's your sister's name?" Her mother asked loudly so she could be heard above the pitter patter of rain drops on the roof."My sister's name is Rain.""Alright. Rain can sleep right next to you." Krystal's mother kissed her on the forehead. "Goodnight honey." She said"You didn't say goodnight to Rain." Krystal whined."Goodnight Rain." Krystal kept talking about Rain. Her parents didn't think anything of it for a few years, assuming it was just a phase. But by the time Krystal was thirteen they began to worry. Krystal still believed she had a sister named Rain.

Aleena was a girl no one really knew yet everyone knows of both her identities , most people didn't even know she was a girl half the time. She was on the hit list for five countries well being hired by ten others if not more. She was simple known to the world as The Ghost: Spy, Assassin, Thief extraordinaire. Now the FBI is after her and someone who knew her very well before she had to become The Ghost can he find the girl under the cold facade or will she forever be soulless.

The opening chapters of my 2014 NaNoWriMo project.

This story won't have an end or a beginning. Life before and after life is what matters. Life with angels and demons. And past, which is trying to remind about itself.

Robyn dropped out from college years ago after realizing that she couldn't entirely afford paying her yearly fees without being immersed in part-time jobs. It was a relief to herself that she did, assuming that she won't be facing any forms of stress in the following phases of her life. But in truth, she actually wanted to pursue a stable career and mostly,make up for the things her mother had done for her own well-being. Sadly, what's done cannot be undone and Robyn had to find jobs as soon as possible in order to pay her apartment's rent as well as to take care of her recently ill mother. One day, as she went to apply at a fast food restaurant, she met an unlikely acquaintance, a guy she once knew who bullied her during high school. And to make things odd, he was also applying for the same position as her. As memories rained, the two immediately confronted each other in a pleasant way but little did they know, it was a spark for a peculiar relationship to be developed.

Humanity has fought wars before, countless battles between our species, but the world wasn't prepared for what came next. Soldier engineered for our causes, would that be the thing that managed to wipe out the human race? We weren't soldiers, just people living their daily lives, but we were all that stood against them. But then again, I wasn't just a normal person

A pre-NaNoWriMo novel. Vampires have been done, so this will be modern-day werewolves. It's a seat-of-the-pants experiment, unplotted. I'm envisioning it being YA lit, sort of like the popular YA dystopian novels/films of late but without the dystopia, it's present-day. With a bit of mystery, a bit of violence, teenage drama, coming-of-age angst, a pack of teenagers, a few adults with varying senses of responsibility, longing for superherodom (is that a word?), a smidge of romance, the potential for retribution, and... I'm not sure, since I'm not plotting. You get what you get, and when you get it!

Before either one of them can continue in their friendship, horrible jealousy and dangerous life changing situations happen. What will happen next in their upside down world where everything is falling apart? What will happen when surprising twists and turns occur throughout their story? Only one way to find out.
