With the beginning of another school year, the competition inside the walls of NYSPA is stronger than ever as a small group of students decides to revive the disbanded show choir club. ***** Broadway star and NYSPA student AJ Fleetwood is more than ready to bask in the glory of her newfound fame and success as her senior year of college begins, but she somehow finds her spotlight dimmed by the arrival of a disgraced musician. In an attempt at doing what's right--namely, to remind everyone of the star she has always been meant to be--she takes full responsibility to revive the disbanded show choir club and bring it back to its glory days. Whether or not Theodore Aspen (Theo, to his few friends) wanted to get dragged into the conflict between his old home, Terra, and his new one, Earth, that doesn't matter. He thought that by becoming an exchange student to Earth with his lupine best friend, Alaina, he would be able to leave his past as an orphan behind and find a new family. The second part happened. The first didn't, and now he's going to find himself on the front lines of the war that he wanted to flee, and it's all due to a few mistakes that he made (mostly, not realizing that his principal on Earth wasn't quite human; no, Mister Marlboro likes Camels, hates Terrans, and oh, wants them all dead. He's going to try all he can to make sure that that happens, and it's Theo and co's job to make sure that it doesn't.) They'll have to stay alive first, but so far so good, thankfully. After years of test and government funding, his theory was adapted into everyday life by the help of Termis Corp, an organization who have made it their mission to help create a better future by ensuring the proper mating of people based off appearance and IQ. Many believe this to be a beneficial part of life that will help future generations to come but for William Clarkson II, it's a death sentence. December has come and William's time is running out; this is his last ball and if he doesn't get chosen well, he'd rather not think about it. He has one chance to gain the attention of Emilia Thurgood, daughter of Edward Thurgood a well known and established scientist or his time is up and but the odds stacked against him, could this be the end?

Unfortunately, his calm home has rules and doesn't like them broken. A fierce storm separates Tal from everything he knows, leaving him in the last place he ever wanted to be- on land. Elle hates the sea. According to everyone, it took her father away from her. With its crashing waves and churning rage, it is a cruel and unforgiving entity. That is why she loves the city, its away from all of it. In a twist of unfortunate circumstances, Elle is forces to leave her concrete jungle and stay with her uncle, right by the ocean. Its pure punishment. After a very brutal storm, Elle explores the beach and finds something (or someone) quite unusual.

She has to trust the people who are suddenly in her life and figure out how to purge the world of the bad guys and bring balance to what is now her life. Maybe, for the first time, she will be able to live a life of peace and happiness.

Government became incredibly controlling, trapping citizens in large domes in which they thrive. As people came to realize they weren't happy, they created a new rebellion. They must escape the Dome.

But it's what she gained that held equal importance. At first, she had no idea what was happening to her. The doctors sent her off with a diagnosis of synesthesia, but something told her that it was more than that. She didn't quite know what "more" meant. Maybe she was about to find out.

{Nanowrimo 2018} Morwen Lovell never expected to fail out of college before even declaring a major, but after a failed quest to find a normal, secure place in the world, Morwen returns to Ohio and the familiarity of her parent's Great Midwestern Renaissance Faire. Her summer filled with make-believe royals, pirates, and turkey legs is turned upside down when a dashing knight-in-authentically-replicated-armor, a mermaid, and William Shakespeare come alongside her and help her realize her new destiny: put her outstanding cosplay skills to use and apply to a design school she has only ever dreamed of. But getting into an elite costume design program is easier said than done while trying to navigate faire politics, a mysterious saboteur, and an encounter with internet fame that brings an army of jealous trolls down on her cosplay accounts when she's forced to step out from behind the sewing machine and into the spotlight.

For nanowrimo 2018 I'm not completing the full challenge, instead I'm challenging myself to write, and post, at least one poem every day. These may be reflections on the world around me, an expression of how I feel, or dreams that I have for the future. Thank you to anyone who chooses to come along with me on this journey.

Sixteen year old Tinsley Mathis seemingly has a good high schooler's life. She's dating Manuel Rivera, who is one of the hottest guys at school, has three best friends, and has a good relationship with her mom. But on the last day of school, her and Manuel go to a party, and she catches him flirting with a girl, which is a continuous problem with him. After the party, she confronts him, and breaks up with him. Although she was sad, her friends were there to cheer her up. When one of her friend's invites the group to join her and her mom to go on a summer vacation to Greece, they decide to go. In Greece, Tinsley meets another guy on vacation named Caleb Reed. They hang out, talk, and kiss, just like how any other summer fling goes. When she gets back from vacation, Manuel apologizes and begs for her back, claiming he was very drunk, so she takes him back. On her first day of junior year, she was having a typical normal day, until she coincidentally sees Caleb at school. Manuel has no clue what happened in Greece, and she definitely doesn't want him to find out, even though they were broken up at the time. Will she be able to keep that a secret? Will she continue to date Manuel or will she catch feelings for Caleb?
