Villains. Heroes. Try as they might, one is always bested by the other, an endless fight without true meaning. We all have to pick our sides, but I think it's outdated. We all need to toe the line - to really satisfy our purpose. That's where I come in. Not only the undoing of villains, but the remaking of heroes. Sixteen year old Tinsley Mathis seemingly has a good high schooler's life. She's dating Manuel Rivera, who is one of the hottest guys at school, has three best friends, and has a good relationship with her mom. But on the last day of school, her and Manuel go to a party, and she catches him flirting with a girl, which is a continuous problem with him. After the party, she confronts him, and breaks up with him. Although she was sad, her friends were there to cheer her up. When one of her friend's invites the group to join her and her mom to go on a summer vacation to Greece, they decide to go. In Greece, Tinsley meets another guy on vacation named Caleb Reed. They hang out, talk, and kiss, just like how any other summer fling goes. When she gets back from vacation, Manuel apologizes and begs for her back, claiming he was very drunk, so she takes him back. On her first day of junior year, she was having a typical normal day, until she coincidentally sees Caleb at school. Manuel has no clue what happened in Greece, and she definitely doesn't want him to find out, even though they were broken up at the time. Will she be able to keep that a secret? Will she continue to date Manuel or will she catch feelings for Caleb?

So, this is my novel for NaNoWriMo 2018! Enjoy! ~~~ Ex-scientist's apprentice Martin Black has a relatively simple mission. Deliver the briefcase. Leave. Get paid. So does frosty hired gun Frances Steele. Kill the target. Leave. Get paid. But the target happens to be Martin Black, who seems to be unable to get hit by a bullet. Somehow, they manage to strike up a deal, and begin their journey to Manning Dam. Along the way, they meet a few fixer-uppers: a senseless chemist who's actually onto something; a gang-member that never truly went straight; a stoic vigilante with an overwhelming hunger for justice; a young aristocrat adjusting to life in the Wild West; a wise-cracking thief with more than a few issues to sort out. But all of them seem to have an enemy in common. And, beyond their knowledge, forces brew. Little do they know their actions will make a difference, and alter their world forever. -- *EDIT* The novel wasn't finished for NaNoWriMo. However, chapters will still be released (though probably not as often). There will be lots of plot holes, but when I finish Draft 1 and edit it, things should be... better.

Liliana "Lily" Hamill is just your average working woman. 5'5" with wavy brown hair the color of milk chocolate and blue eyes, she's never been described by anyone as "a catch." She's pretty enough, what with her athletic frame and well-proportioned face. She rises every day, runs almost every morning, and gets ready for work just like many twenty-something-year-olds in the United States. She's been working mostly in the marketing department at Andino Incorporated since she graduated from a college in Texas at twenty-one, and she's lived in New York City for the past two. She doesn't think she's anyone special. But she is, because Lily has been blind since birth, although her disability has never held her back. That burden has fallen on her insecurities. Now, though, she's attempting to face her fears. Her closest childhood friend, Joseph Montran, has invited her to a company social event, and Lily grudgingly has agreed to go. All she knows is that it's informal, that she and her guide dog, Chelise, can mostly hang out with Joe and his wife, Katherine, if that's what Lily wants, and that she shouldn't be afraid to "act natural." Elle hates the sea. According to everyone, it took her father away from her. With its crashing waves and churning rage, it is a cruel and unforgiving entity. That is why she loves the city, its away from all of it. In a twist of unfortunate circumstances, Elle is forces to leave her concrete jungle and stay with her uncle, right by the ocean. Its pure punishment. After a very brutal storm, Elle explores the beach and finds something (or someone) quite unusual.

It's the aftermath of Infinity War. The lives it took, and those it tore apart. The destruction and chaos that ensued, and the hearts it left broken. Our heroes do their best to cope, but in truth, when everything comes crashing down it tends to take more than a few days to rebuild. ~Updates will most likely be be every couple days, so keep an eye out~
