In Kreacher's mind the worst punishment he could suffer was the death of a beloved master, but he'd gladly take any other punishment Regulus wanted including sufferings like that which he'd suffered by drinking the potion,. Regulus living of course has repercussions on everyone. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is one of my projects for NaNoWriMo. Specifically, it's the start of the prequel series for a one-shot I wrote where Neville Longbottom is the boy who lived. The first attempt at a first chapter didn't work and then when I went to write the actual first chapter of the original first story I wanted to write, I found myself realizing I would be going further back, yet I also realized Regulus living would actually change things for everyone, including which boy Voldemort would in fact choose, though depending on what happens after the first chapter - because there are so many possibilities including other possibilities in regards to Regulus and him living, all of which would have profound effects on the plot.

When you don't feel pain, what is there to fear? In a world where everyone is missing something: the fear gene, the pain signal, the cage of normal bones. Everyone has an advantage. Regular is no longer part of our dictionary. Regular is obsolete and abnormal is the future. My name is Annalise Star Challenge. My friends call me Star and my abnormality is the no pain signal. I was Part of a group once. We tried to keep order, with all the abnormalities running free, chaos could set in fast. However, the boss gave us a particularly difficult order and things went bad and I ended up getting left behind. I'm not angry and my mission isn't revenge, although I could argue that I have a right to it. My mission is to warn my team before the Idiosyncrasies can execute their plan. The one thing my boss didn't consider when he gave my team the order to leave me, is that I know what the idiosyncrasies are planning.

#NaNoWriMo 2016 Book One in the Tales from the Filii Aurea Series IN THE BEGINNING, they say, the Aetherei Matrem fell in love with a Celestial Being, and produced a line of children like none other, each with their own special abilities, and each with ichor flowing through their veins. They were her Filii Aurea, her Golden Children, and they were to inherit the earth. A couple centuries down the line, and the Filii Aurea are struggling to stay alive. With the great Aurean war and Aziel Aro committing perpetual genocide, they're desperate to save their race. Avani Sai and Nuri Bachmann need to find the last remaining descendent of the great Milo Aro, and possibly the last cursed Child, and defeat Aziel Aro. That might not be their biggest concern, however. A charming stranger from the Sovereign Capital and a dark force lurking in the streets seem to pose a bigger threat than perpetual genocide.

Liliana "Lily" Hamill is just your average working woman. 5'5" with wavy brown hair the color of milk chocolate and blue eyes, she's never been described by anyone as "a catch." She's pretty enough, what with her athletic frame and well-proportioned face. She rises every day, runs almost every morning, and gets ready for work just like many twenty-something-year-olds in the United States. She's been working mostly in the marketing department at Andino Incorporated since she graduated from a college in Texas at twenty-one, and she's lived in New York City for the past two. She doesn't think she's anyone special. But she is, because Lily has been blind since birth, although her disability has never held her back. That burden has fallen on her insecurities. Now, though, she's attempting to face her fears. Her closest childhood friend, Joseph Montran, has invited her to a company social event, and Lily grudgingly has agreed to go. All she knows is that it's informal, that she and her guide dog, Chelise, can mostly hang out with Joe and his wife, Katherine, if that's what Lily wants, and that she shouldn't be afraid to "act natural." What she doesn't know is that social event will change her life forever. //// I KEEP EDITING AS I'M WRITING. I'm sorry to anyone who gets updates for old parts to which I make minor grammatical changes. Don't kill me. c:
