After the brutal events with the Lightstone family, Santa Claus is no longer the cheerful myth people believe in. Injured, exhausted, and separated from his reindeer, he escapes into the snowy night, following instinct more than direction. The first shelter he finds is a half-ruined house on the edge of town-cold, dark, and seemingly abandoned. Perfect for hiding.
The house, however, is not empty.
Jenna Whitmore, a stubborn young woman trying to rebuild her life, has just bought her late grandmother's old house. The place is barely standing, poorly decorated, and full of memories she hasn't had time to sort through-much like her own life. Christmas was supposed to be quiet this year. Just her, the house, and the cold.
That changes when she finds a bleeding, bruised man in a red suit collapsed inside her home. A man who claims-very convincingly-to be Santa Claus.
Suspicious but unable to turn him away, Jenna treats his wounds, keeping her guard up while the stranger heals under her roof. As the storm outside worsens and the nights grow longer, secrets begin to surface. Santa is not just a legend, but a broken warrior carrying centuries of regret, violence, and lost faith. Jenna, in turn, is more than a reluctant helper-she's someone who understands what it means to inherit ruins and try to make them livable again.

From the movie Violent Night. It contains sexual scenes and violence. +18. Santa played by David Harbour, so in my fanfic it's the same.
