Fourteen years after EoE cuts to credits. Shinji and Asuka have painfully, clumsily built something like a life together in post-Impact Tokyo-4. They thought they were done with all of this. Then the First Ancestral Race-still out there, still watching-sees that Earth's experiment went off-script. They're sending the Horsemen: cosmic exterminators on a scale that makes the Angels look like child's play. Misato Katsuragi, now Commander of HERZ (the successor to NERV), has a desperate gambit: Project Omega. One final Evangelion, powered by the LCL sea of dissolved souls from Third Impact and armored with Chaos Material-a substance extracted from an eldritch rift that tore open beneath Terminal Dogma during Third Impact. But nothing is what it appears. Ghosts haunt every decision. A darkness is growing at HERZ's heart that could make it as dangerous as NERV ever was. Time is running out, secrets are multiplying, and Omega needs a pilot.

The world is back anew and slowly rising in population. The broken pieces of their planet was starting to form a picture. A bright future. But one without him wasn't one worth living. In a world where Shinji and Asuka killed the EVAs in the SEELE attack on NERV, Shinji and his father reconcile and everyone else goes their separate ways. Four years later, after moving to Tokyo-02, Shinji is (again) alone with his father, as he is dealt with a comatose Rei, a potentially unforgiving Asuka away in Germany, and a busy and family-oriented Misato. Will things change?

Ten years have passed since the last Angel's death: after many researches, the Nerv has finally found a planet which could host life forms similars to Adam and Lilith. A team is sent to explore the planet, and among them there's also Shinji, which through the years has developed a sort of obsession towards the Angels. Will this new world be hostile to the Lilins? (PS, this story is a tribute to "Alien Covenant", indeed the plot is pretty much the same, even if it can't be considered a crossover.) Special thanks to Ruben Tura, who has revisioned the story!

why is Shinji sfrechyed out

In a dystopian world scientists have created a drug that can temporarily kill you. After they give this drug to "volunteers" with special machines they can monitor them in the afterlife in their effort to answer humanity's number one mystery: What comes after death. Though experiments keep failing with the volunteers waking up with no memories, traumatized and shocked to the point they never talk again. Shinji and Kaworu are different though, they didn't wake up at all. At the same time everyone thinks they are dead and never coming back, they desperately try to find a way to come back from the spiritual world they ended up together.

shinji ikari rejected third impact but in the process was sent away as his EVA went through a completely different process, being reborn as the parasite code 113. what will happen when he has to help squad 13, and can he make it home to stop third impact from ever happening to begin with

EVANGELION: 3.0+0.5 begins at the end of EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO, with Asuka having to get Shinji out of the entry plug and get rescued by WILLIE. It is written in limited third person past tense, though the eyes of Point-of-view (POV) Characters, this means the characters are unreliable narrators, and may recall memories incorrectly. Italics in the story can denote either internal thoughts/dialogue, or sounds/onomatopoeia.
