A newly divorced lawyer goes to visit his best friend in Montana to escape life. He finds out life is easier there and less stressful. Then his ex wife's realize life isn't as good as she thought it would be without him and tries to persuade him to return home and give them another try. Will he choose he past life or new life?

A collection of unconnected short stories, most of them 500 words or less. I'm new to this, so they might not have coherent plots, but I'm very open to feedback! Updates every Sunday.

After Rylan came out to his father, it didn't have a good outcome. He didn't know what to do. But his father did, and he sent Rylan off to the Army to "man up" and such. Of course, he didn't have a word in this, and after a bit, he got in... as a part of the cleaning crew with a few other members who didn't pass the tests. Commander Andrew Salisbury is a stern man. He's tall, strong, and strict. Soldiers fear him. It is Rylan's first day of being a cleaner. He's set with a crew. When Commander Andrew comes in and finds fascination in Rylan, what will happen?

As the storm deepens into a whiteout, Gillian begins to question what lies beneath the surface-of the man who keeps her company, and of herself. In the storm, trust is a luxury... and survival may come at the cost of surrender.

Logans mom has recently decided to adopt a foster child and his life has been awful. Devins parents have been abusing him for years, and now that it's all over, he can finally be free of them, but not the nightmares. Now that he's moved in with Logan and his family, he needs to learn to trust again and be happy. But their starting to feel something more than friendly about eachother as time goes on. Will Devin ever be able to love Logan? Or get scared and run away? I suck at summaries, so please give it a shot :3

"Tired?," he questions, before placing his hand under my chin and lifting my face up to meet his. I blush at our proximity, noticing how he is leaning towards me, with one arm leaning against the wall and the other under my chin. "Yes," I manage to release from my lips, trying to hold on to as much air as possible. He looks me up and down, his forest green eyes glistening roguishly. He slowly leans forward, his eyes boring into mine. My heart beat instantly races as leans even closer, closing the gap. His long fingers gently reach forward and push a strand of my soft brown hair behind my ear, leaving my skin tingling after his delicate touch. His plump pink lips are an inch away from mine, and his tongue slowly runs over his luscious bottom lip. "Lesson two begins Wednesday, don't be late," he salaciously whispers into my ear, his lips lingering for a couple seconds, causing my breath to hitch.

This short story is based on a girl who has just moved to a big city.

" There was a moment of silence. They were looking at eachother. Cece suddenly burst out: "Wow. Really?! So basically you just explained to us that you were living a painful, pathetic life by our side and that we're not popular enough for you so you enjoyed more kissing Felicia's ASS than watching a movie with your real best friends??!!" Chloe wasn't even looking at either of us, she was just shaking her head in shame. "Come on Chloe." said Cece. They both walked over to the door and left without looking back and left me depressed and teary-eyed. The next day, I felt weak emotionally and physically. All the drama had drained me. My mum was worried as to why I was so unhappy. Even though it felt like it,I wasn't sick, I didn't have a cold. So, I told her that Cece, Chloe and I had had a huge row and I didn't have anyone else to hangout with so that I didn't have to go to school aka hell. I was sort of pouring my heart out to her and she felt sorry for me. There was no need for me to explain what happened at the party, she would feel even more sorry for me and I would probably feel even more miserable and self-pity. My mum still had to go to work, so did my dad and my brother was at kindergarden so I was left by myself at home, laying in my bed, watching an America's Next Top Model marathon. I disallowed myself to check anything social media related or text messages. If someone wanted to speak to me, they had to straight up call me or come right up at my face. I was sick and tired of all the bullshit at school. Maybe it was Tyra Banks's fierceness, i dont know, but my sadness was slowly turning into anger."
