The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Teresa was not the first female Glader... For the first time ever, a girl arrives in the Glade with a mysterious note. Times and rules are changing and when Newt is tasked with teaching the girl greenie the ways of the maze their lives are changed forever. Meanwhile Thomas is faced with his biggest decision yet: to choose a traitor or his friend.

Expect the unexpected: This time, the Box held a girl captive. Elizabeth gets thrown into the Glade. This strange occurrence causes an uproar, especially from a certain blond, British boy because of what the girl stirs in him -- an unfamiliar feeling that he never knew would arise within the Glade. All ties of normalcy is broken however, because her arrival and actions were planned. She was completely fooling them into believing that she too had lost her memories. She was completely fooling them into believing that she was a part of their community. Most importantly, she was completely fooling him into believing that she is in love with him. But as time goes on, she is not too sure that she is keeping up with her words... - Takes place 2 months before the events of the first book. Disclaimer: The maze runner is owned by James Dashner.

No matter how much she was happy for Newt, she couldn't help but wish that it was her instead of Thomas....
