The FBI was supposed to take every members of that cult, but despite the sacrifice Cassandra Hobbes had made that day, the few FBI members were somehow still loyal to their head and helped few cult heads escape. It should've scared Laurel, more then her sister and her sisters family and friends were worrying. but somehow Laurel couldn't master that same fear or worry of her sister and the people around her. She was nine when the few cult heads had escaped. it was safe to say that, almost a decade later, still there was no sign of trouble or chaos. But Laurel got a bad feeling it won't be so quiet for long. she still had her past monsters to fight. her four years old self had some matters for her 17 years old self to take care off. For a fact, Laurel knew she couldn't escape the cult she was born in to. The cult she was supposed to take over. The cult she was raised to take over. "The blood belongs to The Pythia, The blood belongs to Nine." She could still remember the way The Pythia's, her mother's, blood felt against her small hands. warm, thick. She knew, either her future held her revenge or her destruction.
