during the battle against the twelfth angel leliel unit-01 is destroyed, when NERV dropped the massive amount of N2 bombs on the angel leaving nothing left of the evangelion besides a heavily injured yui ikari, which should have not been possible especially when there was no sign of shinji himself but unit-01 was still very much intact just in a different form, having been sent elsewhere, what will shinji do now that he has somehow found himself inserted into an even greater conflict DISCLAIMER: i am using characters and concepts from other anime in this story they will be OOC so PLEASE don't comment on it, as i already know

shinji was not trapped in unit-01's core after the battle with the tenth angel, as he was pushed out instead of in, given the ability to traverse into alternate realities shinji has a new mission, he will return, and when he does he will be strong enough to take on an evangelion and win, without the help of another evangelion of that he promises himself

As they both struggle to find happiness, Shinji tries out different treatments until only to be left with no option in the end.
