Author's Note I actually wrote this story back in 2021, when I was around 18/19, and coming back to it now at 23 is... an experience. There are definitely parts that make me cringe, but I also think there's something here that's too good to leave sitting in my drafts forever. So, I'm going to do my best to polish it, improve the writing, and hopefully give the story the version it deserves. Please be kind to 18-year-old me.
