Welcome to Wattpad's yellow pages, your go-to source for community, opportunity, and fun. Wondering what awards are open? What about games and activities? Or maybe you're looking for ways to promote your books. Within these pages are awards, contests, non-competitive events, promotional opportunities, etc., all active within the past six months, organized alphabetically, with pertinent dates included for your convenience. This will always be a work in progress. If I've missed something or you'd like me to add a new chapter, drop me a comment here or a message on my profile and I'll look into it. This is a one woman show, so I can't cover as much as I would like, but I'll do what I can. Graphics created by me using resources and tools in Canva Pro.

"Thank you for making me feel human again." IN THE YEAR 2253, somewhere on planet Earth, home of The Sanctuary, past the end, lived a society ran by rulers who encouraged an AI called Genesis, to take over everything. The humans of this world have no brain for themselves due to their conformity to technology doing everything for them. The day The Great Expansion was announced, 19-year-old, Jeon Jungkook was standing right behind the ruler-his father. He conformed just as everyone else did, assuming that the technology take over was good for the world but despite it, he always yearned for more, to create something of his own, a feeling he could never understand due to his whole world view being that he should be content because everything is done for him. He never felt, just played along. And he didn't explore his feelings, especially knowing he'd have to take his fathers role one day. Until he sneaks into a room that his father forbid him to enter, he discovers prisoners-humans, being used for their brain power and knowledge to function the Genesis systems. Jungkook knows none of this right, and he especially doesn't expect to build such a strong friendship with one of the prisoners, 19-year-old, Park Jimin. But it's up to him to continue to conform to his "perfect" society or risk everything in hopes of saving the human heart. For readers who might like BTS, Wall-E, Divergent or The Giver.

What happens when Death falls in love with the paramour he is gifted? Cursed to kill everyone he touches, beastly Lord Damien Casteel lives in anger and loneliness. During a rare game of poker, he wins the final hand against a petty criminal named Luca. The prize is a pouch of twelve precious gemstones. But Luca is determined to get the stones back, no matter what. Breaking into Damien's mansion to exchange the real gems for fakes, he is captured and threatened with death. Begging for his life, he strikes a deal: his freedom in exchange for his adopted son, Jemison, who will serve the lord as his paramour for twelve days; one day for each stone. Although he is reluctant to let anyone into his life, Damien is desperate to keep Jem away from Luca's abuse, so he agrees. What he does not expect is to fall for the tormented young man. Prompt used is number 46. We love broken, beautiful people. And it doesn't get more obviously broken and more classically beautiful than you. (Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid) My writing is AI-free. Any emdashes are here because I LIKE them. The poetic purply prose is here because I LIKE it. Computers don't write my stuff. The Muse inside my head who keeps me up till 3 AM and wants to drive me bonkers, does. Warning for: spicy situations, alcohol, some swearing, blood, abuse, and typical Christine darkness. There's no graphic sa, torture, gore, or animal abuse.

Remember how I always said I never wanted to host an award? Ever? Too much work, too much stress, count me out? Oops. It's true. I am hosting an award. No, I am not just doing it as an excuse to make people stickers, although there will be stickers. OH, YES, THERE WILL BE STICKERS. This contest is a celebration of all that is awesomely misfit on Wattpad. Are you in?

To keep myself from losing track of: all the 2025 contests I've entered, all the 2025 contests I've volunteered myself as a judge (or let myself be volun-told into judging), all the 2025 books I've had to read as a contestant or as a judge, all the 2025 deadlines, and all the other important stuff, here is a book that registers all these 2025 things in a somewhat organized fashion. With occasional commentary. Nota bene: Although other people are welcome to browse my public contest logs and look for contests, look for information about details of contests (i.e. you want me to pour you some tea), etc, these contest logs are primarily for my own use. I enter so many contests that I can't keep track of them without a log. I forget important details, too, including things like "Note to self: You do not get along with this contest host, best not participate in their contests." Like my 2024 contest log, this was never meant to be an "expose" book. I'm not exposing anybody. Contests are matters of public record, as are any comments made in the contest books. I'm just a ditz who needs a written log to keep track of everything. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders. I DO NOT CONSENT TO MY POETRY AND PROSE BEING USED TO TRAIN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

BEHOLD MY BRAG BOOK This is a portfolio of awards and reviews that Ancilla and its art have received, both on Wattpad and in the real world, due to being entered in real-world contests in addition to those on Wattpad. (I self-published Ancilla commercially about a month before I published an edition of it on Wattpad). Ancilla's rate of winning contests on Wattpad, according to Google's calculator, is about one contest in three - one in two if I only look at the contests that did not fizzle out before completing. Real-world contest win rate: zero. For general wins and losses, refer to my 2024 and 2025 Books of Contests. This portfolio displays reviews, score sheets, comments, press releases, and interviews. Nearly all the material contained herein is glowing and positive (of course) but I have also tucked in some negative material and contest fails, including a downright withering review from some guy at IndieReader. Dear reader, I hope you find this entertaining. If you are an independent pro author like me, I hope you also find it useful for your journey to success.

The Dreamer awakes, the shadow goes by; the tale I have told you, that tale is a lie... Portals to magical worlds, corvids that speak the meaning of life, and more await one who sits and listens to this sharing of tales between two anachronistic raconteurs, one of whom may or may not be Geoffrey Chaucer. Reader, remember this: the tales are pure fictions. Fantasies. Except when they are not.

For some, Legends are not born. They are forgotten. A burned home. A lost family. A secret older than the world itself. After a tragedy in the depths of Zaun, Dakeria has nothing left but the road ahead. As a mercenary, she travels across Runeterra, crossing paths with champions, kings, pirates, and monsters alike. At her side follows a companion as dangerous as he is mysterious: Scream, a man whose reputation is matched only by the bloodstained past he refuses to leave behind. But with every battle fought and every mystery uncovered, the questions surrounding Dakeria's origins grow harder to ignore. Who is she, really? And why do even the oldest powers seem to know her name?

I joke with the people who read my prose that writing my erotic literary fiction is like baking lasagna. The plot and characterization and style are the meat, pasta, and cheese; the naughty bits are, of course, all sauce; and then I go and ruin everything by sneaking philosophical discourse, literary discussion, and other nonsense in there like broccoli bits. Well, this book is nothing but broccoli. If you're here, you must want broccoli. Bon appétit.

Against my better judgement, I've decided to start uploading my art onto here as a way to boost my confidence. I don't like drawing on digital (aka, I am too broke to afford a good drawing tablet) so most if not all of my drawings will be on good ol' fashioned paper. Why don't I do this on somewhere like Twitter or Tumblr, you may ask? No reason. I just use Wattpad more often than those other websites. (PS: Steal my art or my OCs and I will fucking find you)
