"We're quite aware of that, but wonder and amazement can't stop the inevitable." ~~~~~ Baslo Fredricks isn't what people would call a "normal high-schooler". His brain doesn't work the same as normal people's. He doesn't speak, he can only make odd noises. He can't chew food well enough to not choke, and must be fed liquid everything. But his mind is full of wonderful things and so, so many thoughts. Sadly, he only has one year left to live before the inevitable happens. But Baslo's gonna live it as best he can.

Alex lives in a foster home. Her mother died when there was fire in the house and her father died in a plane crash. Her brother is the only one left. After the World Cup in France, that is coming up in a few months, they retire. They want kids and a happy life. But what if the kids came a little sooner than expected? What will they do and how will they handle things?
