Nosleep Stories

Every Tuesday at exactly 4:17 a.m., Lyra wakes up. She has for thirteen years. She has always believed it was nothing more than a strange habit left behind by the childhood accident she barely remembers. In Sector 7, strange things are easier to ignore. The CHSA keeps everyone safe, the Bloom is contained, and the flooded cities of the old world are nothing more than history. Until people start disappearing. A missing resident leaves behind a warning Lyra was never meant to find. Then she begins noticing things she can't explain. A strange symbol appearing where it shouldn't. Water turning up in places that should be dry. And a word she has never heard before. Lullaby. The more Lyra searches for answers, the more she begins to question everything she's been taught about the world beyond Sector 7-and the city that was lost beneath the water. The CHSA has been hiding something. The people who disappeared may not be gone. And whatever is waiting beneath the water may know more about Lyra than she knows about herself. Because some things are buried for a reason. And some things in the water are still waiting.
