A short story compiled of diary entries. Amazing what you can do with time, imagination and a manically distorted mind, isn't it? Or, perhaps that is simply what I am telling you because I know you won't believe me if I tell you that I found these notes in the storage shed of my old holiday home.

"I wish we could still be the same but life is just a little cruel to our love"said Gauri. They have been separated by the logical society and yes Gauri's so called morals but she loves him the same even today. The only thing still binding them together is their love for each other and the hope to be together again the same way. She misses every thing about him, his jokes, his laughter, his voice, the way he sang songs to make her sleep, the way he was there to catch every shredded tear from her eyes, the way he loved her. "Nobody will ever love you the way I do, I promise, I really really really love you and I don't want to loose you" the words she still remember from the last conversation they had but what she wanted to tell him never came out" I know nobody will ever love me the way you do, I love you the most too, I wish our love never dies and this time just flies, I promise you to love you the same after all those years, you are my soul mate but right now we can't be near."

This will be some short journal entries. I'm not gonna tell you guys whether this is based on my life or just random stuff though unless you really want me to.

But it's also a promise - that even in the pause, the fire inside keeps burning, ready to rise. To my parents, who did their best and feared the unknown. To every girl who's ever been told "not yet" - your time is coming. Keep holding on. You're not alone, and your dreams are valid.
