Consumed by hatred upon the usurper of his father, Dyah Ranawijaya, Prince of Kediri mounted a massive assault upon the Capital of Majapahit Empire, Trowulan. The battle ensued for days featuring bloodshed, burning, and massacre of the inhabitants. In the most solemn hour, Daha's troops launched a scorching army and burned down the beautiful city and reduced everything to ash. The already-withered Empire crumbles into ruins, horrible as it is poetic. Ranawijaya ascended to the throne and moved capital further inland. But the once-mighty empire was never be the same again
