The divide is constantly growing, and he has every citizen in his grasp as he continues to tell them that those rats are nothing but trouble. He wants a safe, clean and crimeless city, and he will do anything to fulfil this promise to the people of Ninjago City. Kai, Nya and Lloyd have a difficult childhood, for all they have is each other and their small set of skills, including scavenging for food without being noticed, to survive. They live in the Western outskirts of Ninjago City, near the slums as no-one there was willing to take care of three children when supplies are scarce. Although it's difficult, they make it work. They just wish they could live instead of survive. A boy from the billionaire's village, located not too far East from the slums, has been aware of everyone's views on the poor. It was the most common thing on the news growing up: 'removing disgusting homeless people from the streets as they are the leading cause of increasing crime in the city'. However, when one of these so-called 'rats' saved his life, he began to question everything he was taught about such people. It's difficult to turn away from such propaganda if it's the only thing you know.

When the Oni attacked the monastery, one of them hit Lloyd with a memory spell, but because of his oni blood, the spell didn't take effect until after the tornado of creation exploded on them. Garmadon was the first to find him, and before the Ninja woke up, he took Lloyd with him. (Please read book 1 first, The Rise After The Merge) The Ninja have finally finished competing in the Tournament of the Sources, all of it ending shockingly as their enemy comes to their side. Their sworn enemy, the Dragon King, is none other than Lloyd's long-lost twin brother, Levi Garmadon. Even so, Levi must adapt and gain the Ninja's trust. While it might seem peaceful in the dwellings of the Ninja's monastery, trouble is still brewing, with Lord Ras and his true master. And things are in fact different. They still have no clue of Jay's whereabouts after seeing him in the Tournament of the Sources, and Arin left with Ras through the portal gate with the Forbidden Five and his master, the Corrupt. With the help of their Dragon friends from the First Realm, the Ninja must stop a new enemy- the Dragonians, along with others such as Thunderfang who allied themselves with the Corrupt- in order to save the world from ending, once again. Because if they fail, the Five will destroy the Merged Realms- and there will be nothing more to save. So basically...I tweak NDR S3 to make it fit my universe and make things better :p

After the battle against the Crystal King Aka the Overlord, everything was at peace in Ninjago. Like usually in a city like Ninjago, that peace never gets to stay longer than a few months before the latest incident. (Y/N) Garmadon & Cole Brookstone, the two Ninja who fell in love during their journeys and adventures ended up getting married after the defeat of the Crystal King. But as everything calmed after the storm, something started happening in Ninjago. The Ninja saw something in the sky that couldn't even be acknowledged unless you were present. A crack appeared in the sky, separating the clouds and space itself and showing another mysterious place. A new dimension? A realm? Who knows? Now the Ninjas are back to see what's happening. Even without their powers, they won't give up until they figure out this peculiar incident.

Jay and Nya start college at the same time. And while all roommates must be the same gender in the dorm they will share, stuff goes south this year. Too many students have chosen this specific college and now some roommates will be mixed with their opposite gender. Nya is a volleyball player. A good one, the best on their team. And Jay plays basketball. And despite the fact that he wants to hate her - her personality is too good for him to deny. Nya has met many boys. But none of them with a heart like Jay. They call him the Legendary Green Ninja, just a warrior who carries hope like a shield and holds everything together. But, what happens when he gets crushed under the weight of burdens? What happens when he loses hope? Who will hold everything together? In this fanfic Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane are like brothers to Lloyd. Lloyd and Kai are particularly close however this is NOT a Greenflame fanfic. Nya is also like a sister to Lloyd. Garmadon and Lloyd's relationship is just (if not more) as strained as it is in Crystallized, Misako does appear later on but is mostly absent.

Disclaimer: I do not own Ninjago or any of its characters. This story is based on the Lego Ninjago TV series, specifically season 16 Crystalized. It takes place in an alternate universe during the final battle in Ninjago Crystalized and describes what would happen if the creators of Ninjago had went with their original script for Crystalized. I will be trying to describe the events that might have happened if Lloyd looked right instead of left, becoming overrun by darkness. Will he learn to control the Oni side of himself?
