My story for Wattpride. Noel's happily married but one old flame will never die. The title is from Noel's new album Who Built the Moon? It doesn't go with the story at all I don;t think but it made me listen to the album.

All I pray for, oh heavenly creator, is a peaceful life like the good old days. You know, quiet mornings, a warm cup of coffee, maybe a cat to cuddle with-something simple! And yes, I'm still thankful for this second chance at life, really, I am. But I gotta ask-WHY DO I HAVE ZERO PERCENT IN LUCK BUT INFINITE POINTS?! I mean, seriously, was it too much to ask for a little break? Now here I am, sprinting for my life like I'm auditioning for an action movie, dodging trees and rocks while being chased by some seven-foot-tall, snarling nightmare of a creature! Of course, my legs feel like jelly, but this beast? Oh no, it's sprinting like it just guzzled five energy drinks and a protein shake! I'm screaming, flailing, and at this point, debating whether to try talking it out. "Hey, buddy! Ever thought about... I don't know... maybe not eating me today?!" Spoiler alert: It didn't work. Luck? Ha! What's that?
