In this prequel to the Ground of Oam, Arius has found himself upon a strange post-apocalyptic world. He had been told that the mission was a simple honor mission, but after volunteering he discovered the true nature of the mission. He was there to hunt a myth, a legend, and something no one thought possible. Things only got worse as the ship was sabotaged entering the planets atmosphere, and now Arius finds himself stranded upon a foreign world with a band of cold blooded mercenaries. Worse yet, one of them is a traitor, and Arius is the target of an ulterior plot as his future father in law does not wish to see him come back from the mission. Arius must survive among a group of men who know no mercy, and they must work together to survive against another threat.
