I am coming here after almost a year of not writing any new fics. Theme of this one is my new favourite series Our Flag Means Death. Beltain inspired me so I wrote a short cute ff and I am posting it here. This fic is my own translation of my own work! The translation is not exact! The title says it all. I have written two EdxStede one shots since the last episode for Our Flag Means Death aired. I'll probably be posting them on ao3 when I get an account but that may take a while.

(This takes place after season one. if you haven't finished it, do it now.) - Edward had been long gone ever since Stede had left him at the dock. The only person there now is Blackbeard. The man went down a spiral that ultimately ended with him going back to his old days of being a heartless, emotionless, person who showed no mercy for any person. Soon, word had gotten to the ship about Stede's tragic death which made Blackbeard build his walls more. Never letting any man make his way into his heart ever again. But what happens when a man named Clark Bennett, a wannabe gentleman pirate, catches Blackbeard's attention?

Stede finally makes his way back to the Revenge after faking his death with Mary. How will Ed react to him coming back? Accomplishments: #1 - stede 10/08/22 #9 - gaypirates 01/25/24 #151- ed 09/14/23

Ed is trapped on his ship with Izzy Hands and a new crew of murderous pirates who will kill him at the first sign of weakness. Meanwhile, Stede has returned and realized his terrible mistake. With no ship and no money, he goes to Spanish Jackie for help. Jackie puts him in touch with an infamous pirate who has her own reasons for seeking out Blackbeard. But Stede isn't about to let a small thing like an entire ocean and no ship stop him from making amends with Ed before it's too late. (This story started out as a vignette of Ed in the bath, but then I realized it would be a good start for my own version of Season 2. Bonbon is played by Tessa Thompson, because let's be honest: she'd make a badass pirate and she's friends with Taika, so it feels very plausible that she'd show up in this world.) --- As always, comments deeply appreciated. Stede Bonnet is a mermaid who longs to be a pirate. When the chance comes along for him to have legs, he jumps onboard. However, in order to keep them, he has to kill or seduce a pirate captain in two weeks. Easy, right? Title of this fic is a line from the song "Calypso" by John Denver.

It's an ANGST/headcanon of how their relationship would've been if izzy's feelings were reciprocated and how they have known each other for quite some time already
