Harper Holland has started a Twitter account called All Things Breakfast. After several months of dedicated, daily posting, she is proud to say her account has forty-three whole followers, not counting her best friend Olivia. On one completely unremarkable morning, after she crafts an exceptionally beautiful post, she forgets to change from her hole-filled sweat pants into her jeans. But that's not going to ruin her day, right? Except it does, because crashing into a door and thoroughly embarrassing herself wouldn't be complete without an awkward encounter with the most beautiful man she had ever laid eyes on. If she'd known she was going to meet him, she would have been extra sure she was wearing nicer pants. And if she'd known all the trouble that morning tweet would cause, she probably wouldn't have posted that either. I mean, no one wants to start a coup with their breakfast tweets, right? But she did forget to change, and she did post the tweet, so now she has to accept her consequences. The only problem is those consequences keep getting weirder and weirder. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for ONC 2021. The prompt I used is number thirteen, "a storm is raging outside, but you're cozy at home reading a story. When the lights go out, you figure it's the result of the storm, but when they come back on, you've been transported into the alternative aftermath of the book you finished reading. Where are you and what happens?" This is in conjunction with prompt fourteen, "You wake up in the middle of a battle of your favorite game. Who are you fighting and how does the game end?" and sixteen, "The story is finished. The end! Now everyone can go home. By that, there's a world where all the characters live, and guess what? You, dear creator, have stumbled upon it. Now, what's your tale?"

There is not just one princess in trouble in this Novella, but two. Both are in need of protection and only one can do the protecting. When Vondra meets the recently widowed Prince Sharzor, she finds herself disliking him and when they are together, she despises him all the more. For some reason, he seems to hate her and does his best to keep putting her in her 'place', believing she is either a servant or a crafty female criminal. But deeper emotions are at play in both of them and soon they will surface... This is to be a 'Novella', written for Wattpad's 2021 Open Novella Contest and is about the seventeen-year-old princess, Vondra, who appears like an upper-class servant, certainly not a royally titled young woman. She is on the run and has no idea where she is or where she is going. She whispers, "I'm in heap of trouble and there is no way on this earth that I will go back. I don't fully believe in God, but as a last resort before I find a high cliff to throw myself off, I will pray and ask for help to become the woman my grandfather taught me to be."- He had told her, 'You're a weapon and weapons don't weep.' I have placed this novella in the category 'Romance' as there was no category for 'Action-Romance' - the main romance doesn't happen right way because of the prince's loss and princess being in such trouble, she can only think of herself, of escaping and finding a normal life away from the restrictions of royalty. When the romance begins in earnest, it is intense. Enjoy.
