However, her visit to her mother's grave at the first sign of spring soon turned out to be an ordeal when a cherry blossom flower piqued her interest. Unearthing ancient knowledge, deciphering forgotten languages, and dragging buried civilizations back into the light. Discovery is what she does best. It has never failed her. Until one expedition does more than leave its mark. Deep within a dense forest, Evangeline and her team uncover an ancient temple tied to a lost civilization. What they find inside refuses to stay buried. Whatever stirred there follows her home, settling beneath her skin, awakening something long dormant. Because Evangeline is not entirely human. Drakonian blood runs through her veins, a fractured legacy passed down through generations. Heightened strength. Accelerated healing. A heritage she never fully understood. Until now. As strange coincidences begin to stack and ancient artifacts whisper of memory and chaos, Evangeline realizes the past isn't finished with her. Always the perfect princess expected of a daughter of the Todoroki family, despite everything going on at home, Fuyumi always made friends easily, and she expects something similar when, on a bold move, she decides to enter the Pro Hero course at U.A. High. Only, there's another in her class, who is polite to everyone, and her friends who also ended up at U.A. find him charming, only -- only he takes one look at her and becomes cold as ice and distant, but given how easily she makes friends, Fuyumi feels something is up, something she can't quite place, and she plans on figuring it out no matter how antagonistic he may be.
