There once lived six mortal monarchs who were cherished by their people until Helios, the god of the sun, grew envious of the love the humans' had for the monarchs. The god threatened to take the sun away if the six weren't sacrificed. Controlled by fear, the humans did what Helios had asked of them and sacrificed the monarchs and their loyal servants turning them into creatures who needed human blood to survive.
