Monstrous, ragged screams filled the air as Lloyd became the creature he despised most. An Oni. Takes place after Crystallized, it centres around Lloyd and his Oni side. They call him the Legendary Green Ninja, just a warrior who carries hope like a shield and holds everything together. But, what happens when he gets crushed under the weight of burdens? What happens when he loses hope? Who will hold everything together? In this fanfic Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane are like brothers to Lloyd. Lloyd and Kai are particularly close however this is NOT a Greenflame fanfic. Nya is also like a sister to Lloyd. Garmadon and Lloyd's relationship is just (if not more) as strained as it is in Crystallized, Misako does appear later on but is mostly absent.

After the merge, Garmadon ends up in a small remote village in the Wyldness. He never got the chance to meet Lloyd, but Garmadon couldn't leave due to his low health. During the merge, it teared Garmadon's oni part. Causing it to slowly tear apart. And time by time, his oni part of his is wearing away. Showing his true human form, and the merge caused his full form- the human part of him to come back. Showing the care he had been trying hard to get all those years.

After the volcano everything changed for the ninja. The green ninja was never revealed and Garmadon had be defeated without a chosen one. As years pass, a new threat emerges from the shadows - a powerful, masked figure whose abilities feel unsettling, and whose hatred for the ninja seem personal. Haunted by guilt and the memory of a choice made beneath a volcano, Kai struggles to hold the team together as the lines between hero, and villain blur. Because some wars aren't born from prophecy or destiny - but a misunderstanding.

The oni attacked when we least expected it they had been hiding under our noses this whole time if we had just would've have more knowledge about them maybe we could have stopped it stopped them. However, you fear life within it because it is difficult to maintain your human shape as an Oni. Despite growing up in Ninjago, your Oni heritage made you feel like a curse to everyone around you. You were scared to be locked up by the ninja for being an Oni, especially after the invasion of the Oni a few years back. You feared Oni, despite having Oni blood, but you feared the ninja even more. A hit on the head should be enough to meet them. It's also enough to unveil all sorts of chaos.
