Jensen Flaxworth loved hockey more than anything. But when he was nine, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and lost his right arm. After that, his family could no longer afford the training and equipment needed to keep chasing his dream of the NHL, and the life he knew slowly started to fall apart-including his friendship with his best friend, Tanner. Then Jensen met Rodney, the one person who seemed to understand him when no one else did. Now, ten years later, Jensen's cancer is back-and so are all the things he tried to bury. Old jealousy toward Tanner, complicated feelings for Rodney, and a fierce need to protect his sisters at all costs. As everything around him starts to change again, Jensen has to figure out who he is, who he wants to be, and what really matters when life refuses to play fair.
