Hanahaki Disease: is a disease where the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love for a monster if the victim is human or the other way around. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's feeling for love also disappears. They will never be able to love again, though they will remember having felt it. When monster go through with the procedure, they often times will fall down, as they are made up love and compassion. It I possible that they will survive, but that is only when they occupy themselves with other things such as work or a hobby. Humans, on the other hand, often are perfectly fine, as a human soul doesn't require love to persist in the loving world like a monster. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The monsters were released into the world a few years ago, and the city of Ebott had finally started to get used to it's new residence. Yourself included. You've lived in Ebott City your whole life. You live with your grandfather, and have dreams of opening your own flower shop someday! You thought you've seen it all, when it comes to monster kind, until a certain skeleton monster stumbles into your life one rainy evening and flips your life upside down.
