Fall is beautiful in Indiana. The trees are covered with red, yellow, orange and brown leaves and the streams flow smoothly over rocks down into the winding creek below. It seems that even the softest of a breeze carries Lilly out and along the state forest's paths. Her family too. There's a beauty to everything that can't be explained, just experienced. But behind every beautiful thing that exists, there is something tragic. It was a flash of blinding light that made Lilly cover her eyes. A split second later is when she heard her mother cry out and her father curse, then the ear piercing sound of the brakes as she's thrown against Braden.
