Three sisters fight over their mother's throne, splitting the Erse (er-see) Empire into thirds. The Sky kingdom is falling apart. Lily, the middle child, has gained the trust of the Wind dragons, and Annabelle, the youngest, has the Sun dragons on her side. The late queen never wanted her children to fight and split the Empire, yet the children all think that they deserve the title of Queen. Will the war end in peace, or will the war end when only one dragon stands?
