I wrote this book as an entry for the 'Love in the Time of Tragedy' Contest hosted by Romance and Challenge Corner "I am definitely going to die." I thought to myself as I hid. It wasn't like anyone would miss me. But that really was the least of my worries. What? You thought my impending death would be the major cause of my worry? Well, it sort of was... but that wasn't the major reason. Point is... Wait. Let's back up a bit, you'll understand better that way. For some people, love was easy as fall in love, get married, have kids. Unfortunately for me, my case was definitely going to be different... And there was nothing I could do about it. "Are you serious?" I asked. "I'll let you think about it, but not too long, because we need you guys." His voice was laced with concern, afraid that I would decline his offer. I looked him in the eye, wondering what he saw in me. "Come back next time, then I'll have a decision" I said, pursing my lips. Shrugging his shoulders he said, "Suit yourself." The sudden change of attitude caught me off guard as I saw him looking at the sky. He glanced at me. It was a look that people made when they were annoyed. I thought he was going to be patient. But I didn't get the chance to say anything else, when the last words he uttered made my whole body shiver. "The decision you make will affect everyone living in this world."
