When Sophie came to the Lost Cities she didn't really know anything about what the world was before her, so we don't either. In this book we will be diving into the past and seeing the stories of those who had lives before Sophie. It will be an adventure filled with love, heartbreak, and drama, as we look into the past with our favorite characters from Kotlc!

Oralie. She's one of Sophie's most loyal supporters. She's such a strong character, and I feel like she doesn't get enough spotlight in the book. So I dedicate this fanfiction to Oralie, who is my fav councilor. I made up her backstory, her history, and her thoughts, so this isn't really from the KOTLC series. Anyways, this is my first ever story!! (So obviously, it's not good. :D) I'm planning to do another one on a bad character, like Brant. I dunno. xD So yeah. I don't own KOTLC. Shannon Messenger does. :D

Oralie had a secret. Not one that she had told anyone. She caused his death. Just like her parents. It was all her fault. She knew the guilt was breaking her. But a walk down memory lane, might have been just what she needed. *so basically it's about Oralie' connection with Kenric's death and how and why she caused it, it's all written to be from the different times she experienced death* includes legacy spoilers starting on the 8th part, so you can read the first 7 parts <3 after that, it includes spoilers! kotlc fan fic! (based off a kind of theory of mine) some of these characters aren't mine, they belong to Shannon Messenger, but I've made up a couple characters too. OK OK, SO I GET HOW THIS SOUNDS KINDA RIDICULOUS ON HOW SHE CAUSED KENRIC'S DEATH BUT HEAR ME OUT. ⚠️lodestar spoilers⚠️ so if you've noticed, whenever the death of an 'important good guy' character happens, ORALIE IS THERE. Forkle's death and Kenric's, (I think even calla, but calla was self sacrifice) JUST THINK ABOUT IT. so this led to this little story, and I just made up a little backstory. I'm also going to be covering Forkle's death a bit, so be ready for revisiting the death of all your favourite characters! -started: February 28- -finished: April 22- *I might do some editing, but for now I'm leaving it*

Sophie Elizabeth Foster is all grown up. She lives peacefully in the Lost Cities with her husband, Keefe Sencen and their two children. Or does she?... If you know Sophie Foster, then you know her life NEVER goes according to plan. Even though she and the Black Swan defeated the Neverseen, her life is only peaceful for eleven years. As it turns out, the Neverseen got jealous of the power that Sophie had, so much so that they made their own "Moonlark'' calling it their Flareadon. But after the Neverseen were erased from existence, no one knew about the Flareadon, eleven and living all alone in the Forbidden Cities. Until one day, when the Black Swan were observing the Forbidden Cities for any issues, they found her. Now confused and in denial, the Flareadon has no one to trust. Can the Fosters help, or is it too late?

SO I MADE THIS IN NOVEMBER 2020- please don't come at me for how bad this is 😻🙌 but- uh the beginning is very bad so 😁 but please, feel free to read it! I've also mostly discontinued this so if u want me to write more lmk :) I don't own these characters. This is my interpretation of what I think with happen in the next Keeper of the Lost Cities book. This is a fan fiction based off of Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities. Iwanted to see how close/far my imagination is from what's actually gonna happen. - I just read the preview of unlocked and changed my first chapter a little bit, to reflect what was going on in the actual book. -I already have what I want to happen in the book so I will continue updating even after I read it. IM SORRY FOR HOW BAD THR FIRST ABOUT 10 PARTS ARE- Sophie's life is far from normal. With the Neverseen at war with Sophie and her friends, she wants leverage. She wants answers. But answers never come easily for Sophie. With a chance to learn a valuable piece of information, Sophie makes a choice. Not sure if it's the right choice.

"You are a freak!" the words of her ex-boyfriend, Fitz. "Stop trying to replace Jolie! We will never love you as much!" Edaline and Grady had no idea how hard those words had hit her that day they had gotten into an argument. "I'm sorry Sophie, you make too many mistakes. The Blackswan has no more use for you anymore." The words spoken by Mr Forkle, the leader of the rebel organisation that had created her, left the biggest mental scar on her. "Sophie! I hate you! You broke up with my brother! You're useless!" Biana Vacker. And Keefe... He left her and despite all the promises that she would never hate him, she did. Unmatchable. Freak. Too many mistakes. useless. She wondered if they were right. Maybe she was useless. Maybe she did deserve to die. However, instead she did something that would definitely have gotten her killed before. She left a note with the intimidating white eye of the neverseen at a place they were sure to keep watch of, Candleshade.
