How will The King Under The Mountain react when meeting the 15th member of his company? Elen, born in Rivendell, but not completely an elf, finds herself binded by destiny to Thorin's company. But when secrets of her past come back to light and when the journey she goes on pushes her in places she swore she'll never return, when old friends and enemies are encountered, how will Elen manage to remain focused on her task. How will the company react when finding out about her past and what will Thorin think when he'll discover they're not as different as he originally thought? Will Elen manage to find the strength to carry on and will the line of Durin survive in this alternative universe? Maybe even the King will find its peace.
