After a serious skating injury, Yuri Plisetsky has yet to return to the ice. The injury happened a little over a year ago, but still the blonde punk has not come back. Yuri is afraid of injuring him self once more so bad that he doesn't go anywhere near the Ice. After a year had passed Otabek has come to visit Russia. Well the Blonde Punk. He finds it weird that one, He has not seen Yuris name anywhere for the world champs, and two, that Yavok has asked him to talk sense to Yuri. But Otabek didn't even know doesn't even know about what happened. He may be pissed, but he wants to help yuri, that way they could skate once again together. Of course yuri is reluctant at first...But eventually he gives in. This is a Yuri on Ice, Otario fanfiction. It IS a BL, SO if you're uncomfortable with that type of content here's a heads up. However it will be fairly innocent. In the months after the Grand Prix Final, and Yurio, Victor, and Yuri are back in Russia for training. This makes life for Yurio practically unbearable, but he finds a spark indeed when he and Otabek meet again. But when tragedy hits..... I don't own Yuri on Ice or any of its characters. Completed! This is a Yuri!!! On Ice fanfiction following the four main characters (Victor, Yuuri, Yuri(o), and Otabek if you weren't sure) through life after season one. Fair warning, when I started this I had no plot-- one developed but it took a bit. The beginning is mainly fluff but once the story (for all intents and purposes) starts, it'll improve drastically. But one day, when Yuri comes home from the bar, he walks in to see Yulia having sex with another man on their couch. (Yikes.) Thinking he has no where left to go, Yuri runs out of his house in tears, having no idea where he's going, though he doesn't care. But, little does he know, he's about to run into (literally) the greatest thing in his entire life.

Anyway, now for the part you came here for: the plot (which was partially Roseoak's idea). So in this au, pretty much everything's the same but they're all idols and at the end of the season, instead of skating together, Viktor and Yuuri sing this song called Duetto together. So, in order to stay faithful to this general idea, this will focus on a survival show. What's a survival show you ask? Think of it like American Idol meets America's Next Top Model and the winners get put in a group together/debut as idols for a certain company. No one dies, don't worry. So with all that out of the way, here we go: After Yuuri sort of flops as a new solo artist, he's offered a chance at a new career through a survival show. He's hesitant at first, but he's convinced to take a chance. One night at the after party of an award show, after lots of drunk shenanigans, Yuuri asks Viktor to be his coach. Hi there, this book is going to be dedicated to the gay ships in yuri on ice. With that being said I am open to recommendations but will turn down ships if I do not personally believe in them.
