The crown has always played a major role. Some pursue it for its power, its prestige, its promise of greatness... but some hunt it down for an entirely different reason. But as stated above, these people are not solely alone. Other pieces of the game will manipulate, trick and deceive to gain the advantage and more often as not, they will succeed in their agenda. But only to a certain degree. For the final hurdle will trip up even the most experienced of conmen. As the fire of the dragon is a trial that cannot be falsified and the wrath that will be poured down on the imposter will have permanent consequences... and promises for a new reign.

By 1899, the age of outlaws and gunslingers was at an end. America was becoming a land of laws. Even the West was mostly been tamed. A few gangs still roamed but they were being hunted down and destroyed.
