As of current time it is 2076 and the second omnic crisis has entered its third month and you are a very skilled soldier in a NATO army group, hoping to push omnics out of the western French countryside, but things don't go to plan...

It had started out like any other night. Get home from work, play Overwatch, inevitably rage at being stuck at Platinum. But one night, one chance event at a cosmic scale beyond all scientific reason changed it all. Now what will you do, when you're out of road, out od time, and out of space? Overwatch is not owned by me, I am making pointless fanfic for the fun of it.

Long ago, the Fox Spirit foretold a prophecy: 'The Hunter shall rid the world of evil at its very core and save all.' Now, in an age where shadows still linger and the world teeters on the edge of chaos, whispers of this prophecy have begun to stir once more. Could the destined Hunter walk among us today? As Overwatch faces its greatest trials yet, this individual may hold the key-not just to restoring peace-but to redefining the team's legacy. Together with allies old and new, they must strive to rebuild trust in a fractured world and prove, once and for all, that Overwatch are not fugitives, but the heroes humanity needs. Hanzo Shimada wasn't used to this newfound feeling in the pit of his stomach, an unfamiliar churning making it hard to focus on the issues at hand. Through the war that was tearing everything near and far apart, to the spats that were causing irreversible damage, the last thing he needs is more drama. But when wannabe-cowboy Jesse McCree walks into his life, his life is turned upside down and all of a sudden he is not the calm man he once was. With a cowboy dominating his thoughts, and the feelings only getting stronger what will happen to the emotionless man. Will he give in and act on impulse, or will he let this fleeting love get away from him for fear of making things worse for himself. (AU where Hanzo doesn't feel anything because it was beaten into him as a child that he couldn't feel things. TW's include child abuse, though there's only one major mention in chapter one.)

Honestly this story is a hot mess and I don't know what's happening, but, It started with you as a little girl who was saved by overwatch after your parents died leaving you alone at a young age, but you are now a 15 year old learning how to fight and hope to become a useful member of society. :)

Jesse McCree is the most mischievous little brat that Hanzo Shimada has ever met. Despite them both being demons, they're polar opposites. Hanzo prefers to lay low and try to go against his nature of crime and destruction. Meanwhile, Jesse likes getting himself into all kinds of trouble and stealing whatever he can get his hands on. Now, after learning all of this info, I'm sure you'd be at least a little surprised if I told you these two were actually best friends who had fallen for each other, right? Well, they are. One of them just doesn't realise it yet. (This first story is probably gonna be like less then 10 chapters, hence why I put short story in the title. And no, this will not have any mature content. No McHanzo sin for you guys.) PS: If any of you can find the original artists to any of the pieces I use and comment their names down below, I'd appreciate it a lot!
