Mya goes through life at her own pace. She meets interesting people, has thoughtful encounters, ignores everyone (if she so chooses), and stops to dote on animals. In her daily walking commute from work and back, this is her story.

In a world over run with Aliens that call themselves the Giverest a girl named Siyra fights for her freedom. She silently does small defiant things like taking someone else's whipping. But when her best friend Rye is taken she must choose between a life of hardships or a life of danger that may result in her death. If she chooses the first then she will wither away and die without anyone to remember her. If she chooses the latter she must find the Anevolent, the rebel force underground. This world I live in isn't like others. I have been taught how to take the life of another from a very young age. I was trained to kill the enemy and to never show any mercy. Despite all my teachings I can't bring myself to harm another. My feelings hold me back from what I'm told to be, but I'm not upset about it. I want to be different;I am different. I will become what that woman from my memories told me to be. I will lead with my heart and not from what I am told by their leader. I will show mercy and I will be kind.

This is a Valentine's Day special story connected to my other novel 'The New Arcana Famiglia'. Read that book first to get to know the OC's better :) I'm releasing this as a separate book, so as not to break the flow of the original novel. This is a one-shot about the various incidents that occur on Valentine's Day as the members set off to gather ingredients for a chocolate recipe! ;)

This is my first random writing. The reason why I am writing these short stories, is to become a better writer. (Sorry if it is not the best, hopefully they will only get better over time.) This story is about a man named Derry being chased in the woods, wanting to be in control of his own fate.
