"You gotta tell Ferran!" Gavi urged him, very worried for his best friend. "There's no way I'm telling him!" Pedri shot back, not thinking about changing his mind. Pedri González and Ferran Torres are best friends since forever. They play together for Spain national team and FC Barcelona, celebrating after scoaring a goal, after a won match, they're hanging out on and off the pitch. This summer Spain played for the World Cup, got into finals with Argentina, beat them then they were World Champions. Ferran was extremly happy because he scored the only and the winning goal so when Spain started celebrating he got really drunk and obviously started getting clingy toward his best friend, that's why Pedri was the sober one, that didnt stop him from going home with Ferran that night tho. Anyway, it was just a drunk mistake, they agreed no one should know about this and it was never gonna happen again anyway. In a few weeks, their "drunken mistake" would make Pedri's stomach twist (literally).

Lo peor es que Lorea conoce demasiado bien a sus amigos. Mikel Oyarzabal, Martín Zubimendi y Mikel Merino llevan años formando parte de su vida y, ahora que también están en el Mundial, parecen disfrutar demasiado viendo cómo ella y Unai se sacan de quicio. Pero un Mundial es demasiado tiempo compartiendo vestuario, viajes, entrenamientos, celebraciones y momentos que nadie más ve. Y poco a poco, entre conversaciones después de los entrenamientos, miradas que duran más de la cuenta y una complicidad que ninguno de los dos quiere reconocer, Lorea empieza a preguntarse si aquel pique entre una donostiarra de la Real y un bilbaíno del Athletic es realmente odio. Porque quizá el problema nunca fue que fueran rivales. Quizá el problema es que, cuanto más intenta Lorea mantenerse lejos de Unai Simón, más difícil le resulta recordar por qué debería hacerlo.
