The Things Behind Those Eyes is a ~46,500 word-long collection of several short stories and poems I wrote a few years back. The five short stories cover a rather diverse set of topics and moods, most of which are in some ways rather absurd; A man who has been isolated and tormented by having to roll a boulder uphill for what feels like an eternity is bewildered when his punishment is suddenly revoked. An airplane full of people goes quiet when a strange kind of curse befalls the plane and it turns into an eternal purgatory. Or, granted, it's not all sour and dim; A drug dealer who is on the verge of going bankrupt and has forgotten how to feel joy is completely intrigued when an abnormal man takes him on a romp through London and teaches him how to live again. Meanwhile, the free-versed poems tend to lean more heavily into the more dour, sentimental side of things. The pain felt by the objects around us; not knowing how to live our lives; the ways we hurt ourselves and each other. It's all the little details in the bigger picture. Dear friends, If you are looking for an ff or a story with a plot you're in the wrong place. Here there's no character, no world, no plot. Just some thoughts written when feelings were high. So if you too you're lost, or simply looking for something to read to pass time then welcome. I will write my thoughts, feelings, maybe even notes/letters and why not whatever goes through my vaste mind. Some may be really short while others long. It can be anything as I'm treating this as a personal note app, silly isn't it? Well that can be enough as description, can it? Now whether people will read it or not is another issue I don't want to worry about. See you soon dear friends. Yours, Hanna.

A mighty Mountain lingers over our land, casting it in shadow as it mocks us all at ground level as a dark ominous clouds spiral around it and blocking the view of the peak. Legends say if you can conquer this Mountain and pass the dark purple clouds to make it to the very top then you will be rewarded with your chance at entering paradise. For over thirty years it has been my goal to reach the very top, after years of failure and falling back down over and over again...I know that today will be the one- THE DAY I FINALLY MAKE IT TO PARADISE!

Like the title says - it's just a diary. Normal diary containing very random thoughts. It's mainly for me to enjoy my days a little bit more as each one is unrepeatable <3 (It's not necessarily the eighth part of the previous books. It's just the continuation as I've reached 200 parts in there and I simply cannot write more.)

Bienvenidos a mis emociones, bienvenidos a "Between Us".

Do you really want to read this? This is not a rhetorical question. It's a warning. Aurora didn't write these diaries for you. In fact, maybe she shouldn't have written them at all. This is not a fairy tale. It's not the kind of story where everything falls perfectly into place, where love fixes everything, or where life follows a beautiful, predictable script. What you'll find instead is a woman trying to understand why her life seems to repeat the same pain under different names. And before you get the wrong idea - no, you won't relate to her. Aurora feels too much, thinks too much, dives too deep. She makes mistakes. She insists. She gets lost. And sometimes... she doesn't even want to be found. But there is something. A forgotten detail. A map. An inheritance that shouldn't mean anything - but means everything. And that's where the problem begins. Or maybe... where something greater begins. If you're looking for a light story, close this book now. Seriously. But... if a part of you feels like you've lived things you can't explain, if you've ever suspected that your pain follows a pattern, or that your life is trying to show you something you keep refusing to see... Then maybe this book isn't a mistake. Maybe it's a calling. But be careful: some truths cannot be unlearned once they are seen. This is the English version of the story "Os Diários de Aurora", originally written in Portuguese.

THE DAY AFTER THE FINISH LINE🏁 I thought life would begin the moment I graduated. Like everything would finally make sense. For years, I followed the rules. Study hard. Get good grades. Make your family proud. And I did. I was the student teachers praised. The one who knew the answers. The one who believed that if I just kept going, life would reward me with clarity. But no one warned me about what comes after the applause. No one told me that the real world doesn't hand out instructions. That there are no rubrics for decisions. No deadlines to chase. No guaranteed results for effort. Just silence. And questions no one taught me how to answer. What job should I take? What if I choose wrong? Why does everyone else seem to know what they're doing? Why don't I? At 23, I found myself stuck in a space I never prepared for- not failing, but not moving either. Not lost enough to give up, but not sure enough to move forward. Somewhere between who I used to be and who I'm supposed to become. This book is not a guide. It's not written by someone who has everything figured out. This is for the ones who did everything right- and still feel unprepared. For those who went from being "the smart one" to quietly wondering what went wrong. For the ones who are trying, failing, learning, and pretending they're okay. This is for us- the ones still figuring it out. And maybe... that's not failure. Maybe this in-between- this confusion, this waiting, this questioning- is where real life actually begins. Not at the finish line, but the day after it.

It is a reflection on the inner conflict between denial and acceptance. Often, we avoid certain truths-about ourselves, our past, our emotions, or our reality-because they're uncomfortable or painful. But the more we run, the heavier they become. This topic explores the moment we stop resisting and face what we've been avoiding. It's in that surrender, that raw honesty with ourselves, where real peace begins-not because life gets easier, but because we stop lying to ourselves. Acceptance becomes freedom.
