The Things Behind Those Eyes is a ~46,500 word-long collection of several short stories and poems I wrote a few years back. The five short stories cover a rather diverse set of topics and moods, most of which are in some ways rather absurd; A man who has been isolated and tormented by having to roll a boulder uphill for what feels like an eternity is bewildered when his punishment is suddenly revoked. An airplane full of people goes quiet when a strange kind of curse befalls the plane and it turns into an eternal purgatory. Or, granted, it's not all sour and dim; A drug dealer who is on the verge of going bankrupt and has forgotten how to feel joy is completely intrigued when an abnormal man takes him on a romp through London and teaches him how to live again. Meanwhile, the free-versed poems tend to lean more heavily into the more dour, sentimental side of things. The pain felt by the objects around us; not knowing how to live our lives; the ways we hurt ourselves and each other. It's all the little details in the bigger picture. Dear friends, If you are looking for an ff or a story with a plot you're in the wrong place. Here there's no character, no world, no plot. Just some thoughts written when feelings were high. A mighty Mountain lingers over our land, casting it in shadow as it mocks us all at ground level as a dark ominous clouds spiral around it and blocking the view of the peak. Legends say if you can conquer this Mountain and pass the dark purple clouds to make it to the very top then you will be rewarded with your chance at entering paradise. For over thirty years it has been my goal to reach the very top, after years of failure and falling back down over and over again...I know that today will be the one- THE DAY I FINALLY MAKE IT TO PARADISE!

Like the title says - it's just a diary. Normal diary containing very random thoughts. It's mainly for me to enjoy my days a little bit more as each one is unrepeatable <3 (It's not necessarily the eighth part of the previous books. It's just the continuation as I've reached 200 parts in there and I simply cannot write more.)
