Until recently he has been going with the choice of watching himself slowly dying. Though what would happen when a teenage stranger boy appears at his doorstep? And what will happen when he won't be able to control his true nature and have to be a ran away at his own town? Philip is a 16 year old foster child living with a married couple in upstate New York. He was taken from his mother due to her drug addiction. He has now transferred to Red Hook High School where he meets Lukas Waldenbeck, a motocross enthusiast, and the two become friends. Lukas lives alone with his single alcoholic father, who began drinking after the death of his mother. He's popular and rich but on the inside has nothing to fill the void that he feels. That is until he meets Philip. Two teens both broken in their own ways, will they be able to come together and fix the souls that society ripped from them?

philip, the new kid in town who by chance turns out to be openly gay, runs straight into lukas, the kid with inner homophobia problems, the second he walks on campus.

Another little Philkas sketch, this time from Lukas' POV. Given how he was about Philip talking to him in front of his friends, I couldn't help but wonder how they'd ended up going to the cabin together in Episode 1, so here's my version of how that could have been brought about. I usually feel for the person more in love than the other, like for Tristan more than for Miles, and for Philip more than for Lukas, so I also wanted a little something that shows he was interested in Philip from the first as well.

Lukas grew up in a very strict Christian household. He only knew things the way is father, the local town's pastor, taught him out of the Bible. He thought he knew what he wanted to do with his life, that is until Philip shows up and everything changes.

Ryan isn't really dead. Philip recovers the truth about his mother's death. Bo is coming around. Lukas is more comfortable to do things in public.
