In the late 18th century, in a town known as Polperro, a family known as the Pembrookes flourished - being one of the most influential bourgeois family there. But they weren't the only ones, which often meant trouble. However, this story isnt just based on the family in general - this is based particularly on one. Robert and Sophia Pembrooke had 3 children - the oldest was called Joseph, the youngest called Nathaniel - and in the middle was Adaline Pembrooke. She was known as the beauty of the family, being young, slender with soft green eyes. And her life has been simple - but no one could have imagined the events that took place. Trouble seemed to follow her like a shadow. But without further adieu - Welcome to Polperro.

It takes place about midway through the third season, where Morwenna Chynoweth is forced to marry Osborne Whitworth, despite being in love with Drake Carne, brother of Ross Poldark's wife, Demelza. This is story based off Poldark I've changed the names names and made it a modern day story Ross-Jake comes from a wealthy family unfortunately his father was the second son. So Jake decided to join the military to help pay to get a MBA in Business and Finance. Problem is Elizabeth- Misty his girlfriend decides to marry his cousin who already has the money and status without waiting. Francis -Heath and Peggy - Demelza. David - Dwight and Caroline is Cathy. The story is little different but the concept is the same.

Ross returns from war unaware of all that has occurred in his absence, nothing will ever be the same again but really he wasn't expecting it to not after injuries like these

What if Demelza Carne had a sister? Morwenna Carne is the more sensible of the two of them, Constantly looking out her her sister, So when Ross Poldark returns from the war, Will he be able to move on and find love in this peasant girl?

Lilith reluctantly moves to Cornwall after the death of her mother to live with her heiress Cousin, but on arriving she finds out that her life will no longer be her own. Soon she must find herself and make the stand for her very freedom and right to choose what her heart desires.

What if Grace and Demelza's mother were step sister. Ross still is betrayed by Elizabeth and and Francis but the story is different for Demelza and her brothers. Joshua lives. Winston Grahams characters but a different story.
