Until one day, he was captured and became a prisoner of war, which effectively ended his ace fighter pilot career. Three years have passed and there was rumours of the death of Hitler and a new government in Germany spreading throughout the labour camp that this pilot is working in. Shortly after hearing this news, he and a few German POWs was moved to a nearby Soviet airfield to dig trenches, presumably in the preparation for a defence. Out of a sudden, this former pilot of the Luftwaffe spotted a chance to steal a Russian aircraft and fly it back to German lines. That is when, his glorious ace fighter career, but in a new plane and many new faces, begins yet again. Alternate History Heavily influenced by the combat simulator Il-2 Sturmovik
