Getting pregnant requires government approval, and cheating the system means imprisonment in a mysterious facility known as Exile. In this environment, a pregnancy for someone like Millie is all but impossible. Millie doesn't believe in "impossible."

A child of God is asked to do a series of interviews with the five greatest people who never lived due to abortion. He sees in them lives never lived, the families that never came about and the great destinies never attained due to their lives being snuffed out before they had a chance to become what they could have been. In all this, the man must deal with his own unworthiness and feelings of failure and loss while he is doing the interviews. What will happen to the man? Will he fail in his mission to bring the story to light?
