"Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness." ~Anne Frank ^^^^^^^^^^ Lacey Bennett is a teenager living in NYC in the year 3035. The world has definitely changed from the world that we know, but it hasn't all been for the better. Sure, there are flying cars and hover boards, but the whole world is also under one rule, and it's what you would call a tyranny. The government issued a law where every blonde is to be executed. Aside from the blondes themselves, not many others know why. The problem is, there's only one known person left with blonde hair, and it just so happens to be Lacey. Lacey teams up with a group of rebels to save her own life, along with any future blondes. Together, they'll break all the rules, and discover more about each other, and themselves, than they ever thought possible.

Rowan Irvine had always been told she was childish. Her room was lined with stuffed animals and drawn-on walls. But the summer of her senior year Rowan's parents decide to move to a "sweet little town in the middle of nowhere". With a town, new home, and no friends she thought she'd have to leave her childish ways behind and grow up. Be helpful, no more made up creatures or stories or adventures. But "middle of nowhere" meant by an enormous, looming forest. And "sweet" meant the town held more secrets than it's residents. And "no more stories" meant Rowan was about to become part of a story more dark and dangerous than she could have ever imagined. Perhaps more than she ever wanted to imagine. [This is a little experiment of mine. Hope you all enjoy! From now on, updates Sundays & Wednesdays. Formatted for mobile, so some spacing might look a bit weird on computers.]

Depending on your blood type, you're assigned a career to carry out for the rest of your life. Whatever career you're given, it's an honor to be chosen. My sister never got that privilege. On her Blood Day, she vanished without a trace - like she was never there at all. Ever since then, I haven't gone an hour without thinking about her. Wondering where she went, and why she hasn't come back. Rosalyn Steele has been recruited for a prestigious government position - a CWS, or a Clean Water Scientist. The year is 2200, and a post-apocalyptic New York has risen from the ashes. With weather patterns ruined for years to come, the survivors are dying of dehydration. Her job? Create a serum that will purify any water in time to save the human race. Along the way, she'll befriend a mysterious spy and a handsome fencer, make an unforeseen sacrifice, and bribe an eccentric alchemist. However, unrest is brewing just beneath the streets, and what Rosalyn learns will twist everything she thought she knew ...forever.

Princess Marina was born to change the ways of a world. A world, which though is unbeknownst to her, will be revealed when a green-eyed stranger crosses her path. How will things change when she meets people, who share beliefs totally opposite to hers? "Destiny has already chosen her. She has come to change the destiny of this world." Is this Princess Marina's El Destino? __________________________________________________________________________________ "You don't need to follow me," Marina replied irritadely to Nathan, who continued to follow her.
