When Clary walks in on jace in bed with another woman, she leaves to go to the LA instituite. There she learns how to fight better, stronger and harder. She finds strength from heartbreak, but what will happen when she has to go back to the city of heartbreak... New York.

Okay this is two years in to the future picking up off of where 'Letters From the Shadow World'. Simon and Izzy are still in a long distance relationship. Clary is still struggling with depression witch has only gotten worse to her parabatai's disappointment. Jace and Adele have been dating for a year and a half now. Isabelle has been sending updates once a month to the New York City Institute. She has pushed Clary in her training in between visits with Tessa Grey even though Clary has nearly stopped hunting completely. Isabelle has pushed Clary so hard in her training that she has became the best shadowhunter her age. Ranking first over all the girls and guys her age. Disclaimer: This story is all my writing and ideas other than any events similar to what is in the books. Clary has always been living in the New York Institute after Alec and Izzy saved her from a demonic attack in the Pandemonium. You could say she was Alec's right hand, and Izzy's parabatai. Whenever there was a mission, no matter how dangerous, Alec trusted her enough that she would make it. Clary has been through a lot but Alec and Izzy kept her on the ride path. Clary knew Alec and Izzy had a brother, an adopted brother but she had never met him. All Clary knew about him was that he lived with Robert, the father of Alec and Izzy, in the Los Angeles Institute. From time to time Robert would come see his children and wife in the New York Institute but the secretive brother never came along. On a normal summer day, when summer break was on for the mundanes, Alec convinced his father to take a break and go on a vacation with Maryse. But that also meant someone had to accompany the adoptive brother. Who even was that guy and who would be transferred?

Jace and Clary are in high school . They are both shadowhunters and enemies . They hate each other . Why ? That's the secret they'd never tell . What'll happen when they will have to work together , to fight side by side and all because of a storm . They're friends are worried abot them . The school is closed , because Sebastian attacked it , but these two teenagers have to stay in the building because of the weather . Clary is in danger and Jace doesn't care about her .
