When Jane receives a call from a person of his past who requires the help of him and Teresa, they have to take a trip back to Sacramento to fix the situation. Generally rated PG, although some higher rated stuff may come later.

Once upon a time, an agent named Lisbon fell in love with a cheeky consultant named Jane. Despite their effort to keep their relationship a secret, everyone found out anyway. With everyone, I mean a bazillion fans who'd do everything to get in contact with these two FBI agents, really, they'd do anything. Even if that includes making them break up with a devilish plan. Story takes place after ep 7x02 because why not. Disclaimer: I do not own the Mentalist or the characters. What I do own, are the fingers I'm using to type this story.

What if Lisbon never became a cop? What if Jane never met Angela and became a CBI Agent instead? AU

Things are horribly wrong. Jane and Lisbon have to find there way back to each other after something horrible happens on their wedding day. This story is full of a lot of Angst and hurt/comfort. It also wraps up one of the biggest mysteries of all time. What the heck happened to Kristina Frye?

The noise of a gunshot reverberated in their ears and rang out through the motel. The pain flashed unexpectedly through his body. It felt like someone was ripping him apart. Patrick Jane felt his body hitting the ground and whimpered out in pain. He didn't know what got over him when he threw his body in front of Lisbon.

*Episode One* The series follows Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) based in Austin, Texas. Although not an officer of the law, he uses skills from his former career as a successful yet admittedly fraudulent psychic medium to help a team of FBI agents solve murders.

There's been a terrible accident. Now that Lisbon has lost her greatest love can you find it again in quirky town sheriff?. I just want you to know I'm a big Jisbon fan, so things are not what they seem. NOT A DEATH FIC.
