This is about my journey in Christ and being saved. This is MY testimony from things that God has brought me threw and the light He has given me. God is still adding to my story day by day so my storys not over yet.....

This is a collection of some of my Christian poetry, written over the course of over twelve years. I've gone through denominational changes, so that is reflected in some of my poetry. It contains sermons, analysis, prayers, thoughts, hymns, and psalms. I do base my Christian writings on the bible and biblical teachings. This is a Christian poetry book.

" with every breath that I am able, oh, I will sing of the goodness of God." The voices blended so well as it filled the empty corridors I now walk in. I see a small gap between the music room I take a peek and I notice the Elite all singing with their eyes closed. Without realizing I feel a warm teardrop fall upon my cheek, I quickly wipe it away and just before I left he calls my name -- " Daphne, you know your always welcome here" I reply " I never wanna be around you people, your all freaks. With that I turn my heel yet I still fought tears for I knew the truth. Daphne Afa a pastor's daughter in Samoa and also youth leader in their church. One day she loses everything and is left with nothing. With grief and anger she leaves to the States, and back tracks on the Lord. Until she meets the Elite the prince's of Loyal High. " But God has shown us how much he loves us, it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us" Romans 5: 8

Briar is going to her first youth conference and is really nervous until she meets Anthony from a church in Santa Monica. The two hit it off but there ha to be boundaries the two must obey like the 6 inch rule....

About me: I was baptized about 15 years ago. I started to get involved in ministry about 13 years ago. I was set aside to be a deacon about 10 years ago. Currently I am attending my first year in bible college. I have some experience in preaching, teaching and giving bible studies. I pray that these writings help you in your faith in Jesus/God as they have helped mine grow stronger and stronger each day.

This is a short story that I was inspired to write about my high school experience dealing with verbal abuse and depression.

All your life you are told that being different is good, that it makes you unique. Well, even though people tell us this we all want to be the same, have a certain hairstyle, get certain shoes, paint our fingernails a certain way, listen to the "in" music... But what if you couldn't be the same, no matter how bad you wanted to be. Imagine that, and on top of all that, you have just moved to a new high school your freshman year. That's my problem and this is the story of the goods and not-so-goods of going through high school as me, Lila.
