Grunge is what we are [or so we say] Fuck it all, fuck life [is our motto] All we do is talk about sex and killing ourselves Soaked in vodka Nicotine staining our breath With hoarse voices And dilated eyes Cocaine is what we're made of We don't care [we don't want to care] We're the rebels [or so we say] Bad bitches, fuckboys Society is our playground and hearts are our favourite toys Yes that's us for you We're the ones who crave pain We're insane Never want to be seen as the same as everyone else We're ostentatious Pretentious and broken We thrive on anorexia, cause it's cool We say we're bulimic, to justify our pain We're the wannabe junkies The cliches, but hey what's the difference in it either way Becaus we're broken too, maybe not in the way we want to be, but we are We're lost, we don't know who we are Yet we judge others, for being basic We slit our wrists and say fuck conformity Yet, aren't we doing the same We too are merely pawns in society's game Hypocrites, that's what we are We're too cool for school We don't try, cause we don't care [but we do] We're in a daze Trapped in maze Yep, that's us for you The Tumblr Effect, Affected.
