When Percy's new brother shows up, everyone turns on Percy. When he finally has enough he decided it's time for a bit of revenge.

Percy Jackson is a hero. Everyone knows that. He's a legend at camp, loved by everyone. He's engaged to his wonderful Annabeth. It seems like the fates will finally give him the happy ending he deserves. But then arrives Kaden. And its Percy's own half-brother that ruins everything. After the events of Tartarus, Annabeth grows distant. Percy doesn't take it well, and when a series of events causes him to spiral into paranoia, he cuts ties with his former friends and tries to survive on his own. Has he truly been betrayed or is his declining mental health the cause of his problems? -------------- OR -------------- Percy never stopped blood bending, Annabeth is scared, and his new half-brother causes him to slowly descend into madness. --------------------------------- A cliche that has so much potential, yet bad writing hides all of it. I've made it my mission to reclaim so many of these good ideas, starting with this.

This is not your cliche "Percy Jackson betrayed" story. Quite a few major things shall be different. I can tell you one thing, PERCY"S NAME IS NOT GOING TO BE OMEGA!. Another thing I will say is that not just Percy shall be betrayed. Annabeth will be too, in a way. Percy Jackson was betrayed by most of his friends and family because a newcomer has convinced them that he did something very very bad. They took him to a new place and into someone different, where the old fools won't ever find out. Karma will perhaps take hold of them in time. The hero was taken to a place of new. Except there are more than the world of just warriors who live near the lake. Many will seek his power, yet he will be blind to his potential. Cats will see him in awe. Foxes will call him their ally. Bears will quiver in fear. Two legs? They were his past, in fact they ruined him to a 'lesser being'. He has no interest. Forgotten and Betrayed by all except Grover, Annabeth, Tyson, some of the gods and Chiron. The rest of The Seven, Reyna, Thalia, Nico, the Stolls, and Will are dead. but why the betrayal? After the Second Giant War, Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter alike are in chaos. The 7, Reyna, Nico, and Will, along with the rest of the camp counselors are doing all they can to hold the camps together, and in doing so loose track of themselves, drowning in their work. On top of that, Thalia and the Hunters haven't been seen since the demigods' victory. Relationships began to crack and crumble, the demigods all needing someone to take their guilt out on. The need to blame can push even the most heroic to do unspeakable things. When her own guilt breaks through her tough shell, Annabeth takes it out on her own boyfriend. That's the Butterfly Effect that starts the gentle spiral downwards for Percy, starting from Olympus, landing in Tartarus. Will he make it out the same man, or even alive?
