Kireth (grinning): "They called me innocent. But my fire tore open their hearts. I felt their anger like it was mine." Luca (one of the five men): "We barely survived her. And then the mirrors came. Gods... in Vaelith's domain, we fought ourselves. I still don't know if I'm me or... something else." Zayen (another of the men): "She played us like puppets. Nyssaria trapped us in our own heads. I watched all of you die-over and over." Nyssaria (smiling sweetly): "That was my favorite trial. Nightmares taste sweeter when they come from the soul." Lyara (furious): "We should have never let them get that far. Now Seraphyne stirs. Her tower breathes. Her voice creeps into my dreams." Arienelle (softly): "She's awake. I hear her humming. Do you think she still hates us?" Morrissa (coldly): "She will kill ten. One will remain. I saw it in the frost long ago." Blake (quietly): "I saw her... Seraphyne. She didn't attack. She smiled. As if she already knew how this would end." Caelis (gazing at the stars): "She always did. Time bends for her. We are just memories playing again."
