Pacifica Southeast leaves her open life world in Piedmont, California, for a new home in the small town known as Reverse Falls. There she and her cousin Gideon stumble across something they shouldn't have leading to a summer that they will never forget. Gideon Pines was hoping for a good summer, but hey let's be honest, nothing is better than your too-cool-good-attitude cousin shows up out of the blue and drags you into something you never wanted to be part of in the first place.
