5 childhood friends enter the world of high school after their other friend Claire Daggar goes missing. These 5 friends slowly vanish one by one to then be found dead days later, who they think to be the murderer isnt.

Caitlin rides her bike like she does every other fine afternoon. When she's on her way home she notices a moving van she goes and checks it out and meets a boy her age moving into her neighborhood. They pinky promise each other no matter what they will always be friends. They grow older now and start to wonder if they're just friends or more. They have they're ups and downs in the book. If you want to know what happens with they're friendship/realisonship you have to start reading more to see Caitlin's confusing love life.

He picked me up like they sometimes do at weddings.  "and, I wanted to THROW YOU INTO THE RIVER!!"  "NONONONONONONONONONOMATTY NOOOOOO!!!" I screamed as he was running down the dock.  He stopes and set me down right on the edge where I almost fell in. As I was loosing my balance he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close so I didn't fall. We made eye contact. He glanced at my lips. I wanted to kiss him so bad! But making it  so he fell into the water sounded much better. I mean why should he get rewarded for almost making me drown? So I quickly turned and threw him in. And to my luck he was still holding on to me and soon I was under too.  We were both above when I started talking. "MATHEW JACKSON!!!! IM GOING TO-"  But I was cut of by Matty silencing me. "will this make up for it?" He leaned in and kissed me. Her dad is dead, brother is just like any sibling, mom and kids at school don't like her. She fell in love with her best friend and he fell in love with her. Everything seems to be getting better. But when Matthew might have to move to the other side of the country she isn't sure what will happen. Also hidden things of my life in this story. Could even be things such as people having same initial as someone I know. (only when I remeber to do that). Or just words I say such as 'chicka'. So if you think you find one and want to know, ask.
